This Acceptable Use Policy explains how RebelPages websites, hosting services, and related services may and may not be used.

Failure to comply with this Policy may result in content removal, service suspension, or termination without refund.
3. Right to Refuse Service
Rebel Marketing reserves the right to refuse service to any individual, business, organisation, website, industry, product, or activity at our sole discretion.
We may also refuse, suspend, or terminate services where we reasonably determine that a Client's business, content, conduct, or intended use creates legal, operational, reputational, compliance, payment, security, or service risk.
4. Prohibited Activities
Clients must not use RebelPages services for any activity that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or prohibited under Malaysian law.
Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Fraudulent schemes.
- Scams.
- Phishing activities.
- Identity theft.
- Money laundering.
- Pyramid schemes.
- Unauthorised financial services.
- Illegal gambling operations.
- Sale of prohibited goods or services.
- Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious software.
- Unauthorised access to computer systems.
- Hacking activities.
- Denial-of-service attacks.
- Cybercrime activities.
5. Illegal Content
Clients must not publish, distribute, promote, or store content that:
- Violates Malaysian law.
- Promotes criminal activity.
- Encourages violence.
- Contains threats, abuse, or harassment.
- Contains defamatory content.
- Violates court orders.
- Breaches regulatory requirements.
- Infringes intellectual property rights.
The Client remains solely responsible for all content published on the Client's website.
6. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Clients must only use content for which they have the necessary rights, permission, licence, or ownership.
This includes:
- Images.
- Logos.
- Videos.
- Audio files.
- Written content.
- Trademarks.
- Software.
- Digital assets.
Rebel Marketing reserves the right to remove, disable, or suspend content subject to valid infringement complaints or suspected infringement.
7. Spam and Unsolicited Communications
Clients must not use RebelPages services to:
- Send spam emails.
- Send unsolicited bulk messages.
- Operate mass messaging campaigns without proper consent.
- Send misleading communications.
- Harvest email addresses or contact details.
- Operate automated spam systems.
Any activity that causes or risks blacklisting of hosting infrastructure, email systems, domains, or IP addresses may result in immediate suspension.
8. Adult and Restricted Content
The following content is prohibited:
- Pornographic content.
- Sexually explicit content.
- Escort services.
- Illegal adult services.
- Child exploitation material.
- Extreme graphic content.
Rebel Marketing reserves sole discretion in determining whether content violates this section.
9. Hate Speech and Harmful Content
Clients must not publish content that:
- Promotes hatred.
- Incites violence.
- Targets individuals or groups unlawfully.
- Encourages discrimination prohibited by law.
- Promotes extremist organisations.
10. Misleading Business Claims
Clients must not make false, deceptive, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims regarding:
- Products.
- Services.
- Medical benefits.
- Financial returns.
- Business opportunities.
- Professional qualifications.
- Licences, approvals, permits, or certifications.
The Client is solely responsible for compliance with applicable advertising, consumer protection, industry, and regulatory laws.
11. Regulated, High-Risk, or Restricted Businesses
Some businesses, products, or services may require licences, approvals, permits, professional qualifications, or regulatory compliance.
Rebel Marketing may request supporting documents or refuse service where a business appears to involve regulated, restricted, high-risk, or legally sensitive activities.
The Client remains solely responsible for ensuring that its business, products, services, promotions, and website content comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
12. Excessive Resource Usage
Clients must not use services in a manner that:
- Degrades server performance.
- Disrupts other clients.
- Consumes excessive resources.
- Creates unreasonable load on shared infrastructure.
- Causes security, spam, or deliverability risks.
Rebel Marketing reserves the right to limit, suspend, or require service upgrades where excessive usage occurs.
13. Security Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for:
- Maintaining secure passwords.
- Protecting account access.
- Keeping credentials confidential.
- Using the website responsibly.
- Reporting suspected security incidents promptly.
Rebel Marketing shall not be liable for losses, downtime, unauthorised changes, or damage arising from compromised client credentials, weak passwords, shared access, or third-party account breaches.
14. Client and Third-Party Access
The Client must ensure that its staff, contractors, agencies, and authorised users comply with this Policy.
The Client is responsible for activity carried out through any account, website, login, domain, hosting account, or third-party account connected to the Client's website.
15. Monitoring and Enforcement
Rebel Marketing reserves the right to investigate suspected violations of this Policy.
Where a violation is suspected or detected, we may:
- Request clarification.
- Request supporting documents.
- Remove content.
- Restrict website access.
- Suspend services.
- Terminate services.
- Cooperate with authorities where legally required.
16. Suspension and Termination
Services may be suspended or terminated immediately if:
- Illegal activity is detected or suspected.
- Security threats are identified.
- Fraudulent activity is suspected.
- Serious breaches of this Policy occur.
- The Client's website creates legal, operational, reputational, or infrastructure risk.
Suspension or termination may occur without prior notice where necessary to protect Rebel Marketing, our systems, our clients, our service providers, or third parties.
17. No Refunds for Policy Violations
Where services are suspended or terminated due to a breach of this Policy, suspected illegal activity, security risk, abuse, fraud, or prohibited use, the Client shall not be entitled to any refund.
18. Third-Party Provider Action
Third-party providers, including hosting providers, domain providers, software vendors, payment gateways, search engines, advertising platforms, and messaging platforms, may restrict, suspend, or remove access to services.
Rebel Marketing is not responsible for actions taken by third-party providers due to the Client's content, conduct, business activity, legal status, or breach of third-party terms.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, Rebel Marketing shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunities, loss of data, indirect loss, consequential loss, or losses arising from suspension, termination, content removal, third-party action, security incidents, or service interruptions.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
20. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
The parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good faith discussions before commencing legal proceedings.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
21. Changes to This Policy
Rebel Marketing reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time.
